Dr. Daniella Vasquez
Dr. “Dani” received her dental degree at the Central University of Venezuela. She continued her training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center and graduated in 2002. After completing her residency training she worked for another year as a Clinical Instructor for the Pediatric Dental Department. Dr. Vasquez was awarded with the Graduated Student Research Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Vasquez previously practiced in a private pediatric dental office in Mesa for over 3 years and the West Valley for another 5 years. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Arizona Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Vasquez is originally from Caracas, Venezuela but she has made Arizona home. She and her family love to travel, hike, and spend time with friends and family.
Dr. Todd Christensen
Dr. Christensen received his dental degree from the University of Connecticut in 2000. He then completed an Anesthesiology residency at Loma Linda University in southern California in 2002, and began his practice in Arizona as a Dentist Anesthesiologist that same year. He is thankful for the great working relationship with Dr. Vasquez, and has been providing anesthesia services here since A Small World Pediatric Dentistry opened in 2007. Dr. Christensen is a member and Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also an active member with the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Christensen comes from a large family and grew up in Mesa. He and his wife Cheryl have 3 adult children with grandkids on the way, and most weekends he can be found knee deep in nieces and nephews. Dr. Christensen and his family love the outdoors, road bike touring, backpacking, camping, and getting to the beach whenever possible.
